Mobile me has been going up and down all morning.  It is currently unavailable.  And .mac is also unavailable at this time.

You can update your .mac account System Preferences to us MobileMe information by going to System Preferences > .Mac > Account this will prompt the update process to start.

More updates as they come

Update: Me.com is up and you are able to login.

 Update 2: Software update just popped up, asking to download the MobileMe Software update (8.7 mb).
